Thank you to the members of our Eco-Council who spoke to everyone at assembly this morning. The children reminded everyone that next week is ‘Recycling Week’ and we are all bringing in our ‘Cash for Clobber’ for collection next Wednesday.
Nursery visited Kilrea Library. They enjoyed listening to a story, singing and reciting a variety of nursery rhymes together. What great fun! Thank you Jean. 📚📖
As part of Maths Week Nursery made patterns, sorted for colour, used their iPads to count and sort and enjoyed a variety of number jigsaws.
Miss Coyle’s Year One class have enjoyed exploring a range of wonderful autumn artwork. 🍁🍂
Mrs Kearney’s Year One class created beautiful Autumn trees. They are all budding artists. 🎨 🍁🍂

It is very important that EVERYONE SIGNS UP, as even those in receipt of free school meals need to login and book their dinner for the week. Dinners must be ordered before 8.30am on the day the meal is required.
In the event that your child is sick, you also need to login and cancel their meal. Again this must be done before 8.30 am

Mrs Kearney’s Year One class welcomed their friends from Kilrea Primary School this week to enjoy an exciting Halloween play session together.
We were delighted to welcome Mrs Pepin along with two of our past pupils from Loreto College, Coleraine to present our Year 7 pupil with her prize from their Taster Day.
Maths Week is off to a great start in St. Columba’s. Our pupils have enjoyed the opportunity to explore a range of practical maths activities.
Our School Council spoke at this morning’s assembly to remind everyone of their important job in our school community. We know that our councillors will bring lots of wonderful ideas and suggestions from all classes to our School Council meetings.
