  • Grandparents's Day/ Catholic Schools Week

    Today the children from Years 4 to 7 attended mass in St. Anne's Chapel to celebrate Catholic Schools Week. It was lovely to have so many of our parents /grandparents join us. Many thanks to Fr Cargan and to the choir and all the pupils who helped in the mass who together made the occasion so beautiful.

    Article 14: Every child has the right to practise their religion.

    ✨ Yesterday we celebrated Grandparents' Day, as part of Catholic Schools Week 2020. Once again it was a very special day for the boys and girls as well as all the grandparents who were able to join us. The pupils from Nursery to Primary 3 enjoyed playing and making St. Brigid's Crosses alongside their grandparents as well as a hard earned 'cuppa'. Thank you to everyone who came to join us! ✨

    The children in St Columba's recognise the importance of showing respect to their parents and grandparents. Article 29 reinforces this.
    Article 14 highlights the importance of every child having the right to practice their religion.
