  The boys and girls continued their work for Rights Respecting Schools. This week they explored Article 31: The right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities. They showcased their favourite forms of relaxation and play. 🎨🤾‍♂️

We were so impressed with the standard of entries, we had to share these fabulous poems from our in-school finalists.   The pupils of St. Columba’s celebrated Safer Internet Day a little differently today. This year’s theme, ‘An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world’ was explored through participation in a range of activities throughout all classes. Now, more than ever, we are all spending more time on line. The importance and significance of celebrating together has never been greater!

• Rights Respecting: Articles of the Week

  Have a look at the range of different Rights Respecting activities the pupils took part in last week. The main theme running through all activities was that of discrimination. Article 2 - The convention applies to everyone without discrimination. Article 19 - we have the right to be protected from being hurt or mistreated, in body or mind.
