 Year 6 Young Entrepreneurs.

Year 6 decided to react to a request from parents to purchase the new school jerseys, designed earlier in the year.  Having put their business plan forward to Mrs Kielt and received permission they set straight to work.  The class contacted O'Neills suppliers and requested images of possible order forms.  Once the order forms were delivered the class took charge in marketing the product in each of the classrooms.  It was also decided that the school's Facebook could be used as an additional means of communicating with parents. Two weeks of careful work followed in the collection and checking of all orders and money and responding to any queries which came their way.  When the deadline for orders finally came all orders had to be sorted according to sizes and initials checked before being emailed to O'Neills.  The long wait then followed and Year 6 were more than enthusiastic when distribution day finally came.  Although this was a non-profit business Year 6 developed a wide array of skills and knowledge which will come in very handy in the years to come.  We received great feedback from our customers and hope you all enjoy the jerseys and wear them with pride.
