St. Columba’s are participating in 'The Big Pedal 2021'. The Big Pedal inspires pupils, parents and staff to take active journeys to school. It takes place from Wednesday 21st to Friday 30th April. We are encouraging as many children and parents as possible to walk to school and we will keep a record of all the active travels (including parents) to compete against other participating schools.
Each class will be allocated one day when they can cycle or scoot, under the supervision of a parent/adult. See table for allocated days. All children should wear a helmet if cycling/scooting and a high vis vest, if possible. We hope to see everyone travelling safely in their family bubbles and that the weather stays dry.
Our Nursery pupils have been enjoying the beautiful spring sunshine during outdoor play.
