September 13th was National Roald Dahl Day. To celebrate Primary 4 listened to the story of George's Marvellous Medicine and then created their own version of the Marvellous Medicine.  Luckily no one had to have a taste.

💷Maths Week!⏰

The children of Year 4 really enjoyed the activities they completed for Maths Week! Throughout the week they were set challenges, played games and completed work all to develop their maths skills.

👀Maths Eyes👀

As part of Maths Week children were asked to find examples of maths in their everyday life.  Thank you to all the children who entered the competition and congratulations to the three winners.

🚀Sentinus Science Day!🚀

Year 4 took part in a Science Day run by Sentinus.  The children were asked to design, build, name and launch their own rockets.

Good for the body, Good for the Mind!

Year 4 were lucky to participate in a Yoga workshop. They were shown some of the basic yoga moves and had fun trying to master them. The ladies explained the importance of breathing and keeping nice and QUIET when practising their skills...if only everyday in Year 4 was like this!!

Making Tea!

This term we were learning how to write a set of instructions.

We decided to take a break from all our hard work in Year 4 and treat ourselves to a cup of tea...and a biscuit of course!

We then wrote a detailed set of instructions 'How to Make a Cup of Tea' in our Literacy lesson.
