  🔴⚪️ As part of the Pearses 75th Anniversary celebrations, children from St. Columba’s had a red and white day today. They also participated in a variety of football and camogie activities! #upthepearses #75years 🔴⚪️

  

• Anti-Bullying Week

  We carried out a number of activities throughout the week to mark Anti-Bullying Week. This year’s theme was 'Choose Respect'. Pupils enjoyed fun tasks incorporating all areas of the curriculum whilst delivering a very clear message! St. Columba’s Says No to Bullying!

  The week ended with Odd Socks Day yesterday. 

  

• Road of Hope Shoe Box Appeal

  Wow! Today we packed off an astounding 194 shoe boxes, bags of additional items and a cheque for £1450 to Road of Hope Christmas Shoe Box Appeal. There will certainly be smiles on the faces of many children, young adults and the elderly in developing communities in Eastern Europe on Christmas morning! A huge thank you to everyone who supported this very worthy cause! 

  

• The Doherty Cup

  Today our soccer team travelled to Coleraine University to play in the first round of The Doherty Cup. We were up against a strong side from St. Colum’s Portstewart but St.Columba’s ended the first half in the lead by 2 goals. The game finished with a victory of 2-1 and our team now progress to the Quarter Finals in February. ⚽️
