Off We Go!
During this block of ABL we have been making paper aeroplanes (predicting and measuring how far they can go),painting our hot air balloons, researching a rural and urban area on the iPads, building our own small world area with different types of transport and crossings and creating a sound journey of our journey to school using the musical instruments. For our first two weeks of activity based learning we have been making papier mache hot air balloons, building an airport out of Lego, making a holiday brochure for a place we have visited, creating a magic carpet ride comic strip using the comic life app on the iPads, building a map of the world jigsaw and creating our own life journey on a mode of transport. We are really good at cleaning up afterwards.
