Year 4 are protesting against global warming. They are worried about the world and want to encourage everyone to work together to save the earth.

We dressed up in our pyjamas and brought our favourite book with us. We played a guess the book character game and went on a book treasure hunt.
We carried out an investigation to find out how polar animals keep warm. We made a butter covered glove and put one hand in to the glove. Then we put both of our hands in to cold water to see if the hand in the butter glove stayed warmer than the hand without. We were surprised to find that it did!
We celebrated our first Sacrament this year - the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Thank you to Fr McDermott for helping us celebrate this special occasion.
We enjoyed being outside in the good weather beginning a Spring tidy up around the front of the school.
We really enjoyed our online First Holy Communion Programme with Bishop McKeown, Mary and Therese from the Derry Diocesan Catechetical Centre.
We had a wonderful day in Kilrea Primary School with our Shared Education partners, where we enjoyed a range of art and construction activities based on the theme of dinosaurs.

We began Anti-Bullying Week by wearing our odd socks to celebrate how unique we all are. We created Acts of Kindness and put them on to our Kindness Tree. To finish the week we entered in to the school poster competition.
