Year 1KC

✏️📚Welcome to our class page! Our teacher is Miss K Crozier and our classroom assistant is Mrs Mc Aleese. Our page will keep you updated on all our class news including photographs of activities we carry out in Year 1.📚✏️

Paddington Bear

Using the experiences of Paddington we are starting to understand the challenges, difficulties and dangers that refugee children face when fleeing conflict. As a year group we decided to take action to help the refuge children and raise money to help them start their new life in a new country. The boys and girls held a bun sale and raised an amazing £401.05 for Unicef. Well done Year 1!

Irish Cup

Eoin Bradley (past pupil) visited our school today with the Irish cup, after scoring what has been described as the 'clinching goal' at the end of the Irish Cup final.

Derry Day

We had a red and white day to support the Derry Minor football team who reached the All Ireland Final, what a great achievement! During the day we read the story 'Bernie Wins The Match', a fabulous story book about the experience of Croke Park!

Our First Days of Year 1!

Starting school is very exciting, we all settled very quickly with the help of all the adults at St.Columba's. It was great to see some familiar faces in the playground too.
