We are a Rights Respecting Nursery. All our precious children have rights and as a staff we do our best to address these in the Nursery every day.

We are learning about "wants" and "needs" in Nursery as part of our Rights Respecting curriculum. A house is a "need" but a new bicycle is a "want". Ask your child about needs and wants!!

Thank you to Finvola for coming to Nursery to tell us about her job as a midwife.

She told everyone how to feed a new baby with a bottle, and how to change a nappy.

February Pupils of the Month

World Book Day

1st March

Our Nursery parents came to read books in our classroom. We went to assembly. We had a Teddy Bears picnic and read our books. It was a great morning. We love books.📒📓📕

Dearbhla's mummy had great fun at Stay and Play!!

As part of our preparations for World Book Day on the 1st March, Goldilocks came to visit!!

Gerard our Lollipop Man came in to visit us. As part of our topic of People Who Help Us he told us all about his job. Everyone really enjoyed his visit. We learned lots of new facts! Did you know that Gerard's lollipop has a foot on it to stop it blowing away in the wind??

Nursery embarked on their first school trip to the library. We sang rhymes and listened to Christmas stories.

A huge thank you to Sophia’s dad Ciaran for joining us for a music session. We sang Nursery rhymes, Christmas tunes and songs from our favourite movies. Everyone had so much fun! 😄🎼
