Our First Days in Nursery.

Outdoor Play.

We have enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities. Exercise and healthy eating is very important in our Nursery.

The 26th of September was European Day of Languages. We learnt how to say "hello" and "goodbye" in Spanish!! We read a book about Dora starting school.

The girls from Action Cancer came to tell us all about healthy eating and exercise.

Pattern Making.

Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities. Article 31 UNCRC

Ditch the Dark Day was a great success. Everyone was brightly dressed. We learnt a lot about keeping safe in the dark evenings. We went to assembly.

For Coding Week we used Cody Roby to learn about following directions. We will use this in our play.

We made Spooky Orange Jelly! We melted the cubes of jelly and added two sweets. When it set we ate it for our snack. Yummy!!

Colour and Pattern.

We run a mile each day in our playground. This exercise helps to keep our bodies healthy. 👏🏻🎽

Parsnip Curry Soup

We made soup in class today. It was delicious. The onions made our eyes water!! We dipped our bread in it and ate it for our snack. 🍲🍲

We completed our mile today in the assembly hall due to the terrible weather. Thank you to all our parents in Nursery and Preschool. We managed to raise almost £700 between the two classes. A fabulous amount to give to the PTA. Happy Halloween 🕸🕸

Thank you to Ciaran, James' daddy, who is a vet. He told us all about his job. James told us about how he fixed a sheeps' broken leg!!

Thank you to Sinead and Joanne who came to tell us about their job. Sinead is Enda's mummy. She reminded us all about the different jobs the fire men and women do. She also told us about the motto of the fire service " Get out, Stay out and get the Fire Brigade Out".

Thank you to Dr O' Mullan, Cathal's mummy, who came in to Nursery to tell us all about her job. She brought equipment that we could explore and use. We had great fun.

All the Minibeasts prepare for Assembly.

After assembly we ran our mile in the playground. We then went into the garden and great fun dressed as minibeasts!! What a perfect place to explore.🐝🐛🐞🐌🕷
