Year 4 were off to the cinema this week to see the new film ‘The Star.’ We all enjoyed the show and the fabulous seats to relax in! 🌟🍫We are on the countdown to Christmas. 🌟🎄
Year 5 really enjoyed their trip to ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ in The Millenium Forum, Derry. There was lots of singing and shouting at the characters on stage.🎄🌟😃 Keelan even got a chance to shine on stage by helping Dame Trot with her song!  🎼🎤

This week was Anti-Bullying Week. We were very busy celebrating this years theme ‘All Different, All Equal.’ We watched videos on how to be a good friend, made posters and worked in groups to create comic strips based on bullying scenarios. We also discussed how this learning links to the rights of the children and focused on Article 2 ‘non-discrimination.’ ⛔️🤗

Halloween fun! Year 4\5 had a very busy week before Halloween! We created spooky stories, put our cooking skills to the test making Witches Hats and even tried making our own magic potions! 🎃🎃

Working hard in Year 4/5! 😃📚✏️

Last week were were very lucky to have a look at real photos taken from WW2 thanks to Niamh Lavery and her family. We are really enjoying learning about the past and the photos allowed us to examine soldiers uniforms, modes of transport used during the war and many homes. We can't wait to learn even more about the war!! 📸📸
