School Council

Our School Council Members 2018-19

Article 12 states that every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them and to have their views considered and taken seriously. Here at St.Columba's we foster this belief. Our school council members are the voice for all children throughout the school.

On 11th October we celebrated our Silver Rights Respecting Schools Award. We were joined by Father Cargan, members of the Board of Governors and members of our P.T.A. Our special guest was Koulla Yiasouma, the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People. The whole school community took part in a spectacular assembly filled with music, song, humour and culture. Pupil groups were represented and a presentation by the Rights Respecting Ambassadors, Eco Committee, Anti-Bullying Ambassadors and School Council was warmly received by everyone!
