Welcome to the Yr 2 class Homepage! This year the Yr 2 class teacher is called Miss McGrogan. We are very lucky to also have Mrs Dallat as our classroom assistant. Miss McGrogan is very excited, as this is her first year in St. Columba's. On this page you will see all of the fun we get up to in Yr 2 when learning about all of our different topics. Code Week 2019
This week the children enjoyed exploring coding apps to celebrate 'Code Week'! We developed our mathematical and coding skills using the Bee Bot coding app. We also enjoyed exploring 'Daisy the Dinosaur' app as a whole class coding activity. ☺️
On Wednesday 16th October Yr2 engaged in a fun, interactive problem solving lesson to celebrate Maths Day. The children worked hard to buy 3D and 2D shapes from 'Sam's Shape Shop' that added to make a total of 10p!
