👭👬Welcome to our class page! Our teacher is Miss K Crozier and our classroom assistant is Miss Mullan. 👭👬

On Our first day of the school year we discussed what makes the perfect pupil, everyone came up with lots of great ideas. Mrs Kielt will be very impressed with our class if we continue to be the 'Perfect Pupils'!

✏️🚶‍♀️🏃🏻International Literacy Day!🏃🏻🚶‍♀️✏️

Did you know that in some countries children walk as far as 15-20 miles to get to school so that they can learn their Literacy to help their chance of employment when they grown older? Today we walked one mile (10 laps of the MUGA) afterwards we were tired and could not believe that little boys and girls have to walk up to 40 times this a day in order to receive an education. We are very thankful for our school and the staff who help us to learn!

We used mirrors to look at our beautiful faces, we looked at the colour of our eyes, the shape of our faces and any other details which we could draw and paint.

Letter from David McKee✍🏻📝😃

Last year we wrote to David McKee who is the author and illustrator of the Elmer books.

We told him how much we enjoyed his stories and we asked him some questions. During the Summer holidays a letter arrived at school for our class. It was from David McKee! We were delighted to hear from him and have our questions answered. Have a look at what he had to say.

🎈🎉Happy 100th Birthday Roald Dahl!🎉🎈

13th September is Roald Dahl Day every year but this year is extra special as it marks what would have been his 100 birthday. To celebrate, we did a morning of Literacy based on the book 'The Witches' which Miss Crozier has been reading to us. We were paired up and had to act out a news report between a witchophile and a news reader. Below you will find some pictures and a video of one of our news reports.

Thank you to Frau Lavery for visiting our class during the week to teach us some German. We were able to sing heads, shoulders, knees and toes in German. It was lots of fun!

Ellie the elephant made a long journey from Africa to our classroom, she loved listening to the boys and girls sharing stories of their favourite journeys.

To celebrate National Poetry Day, we had a go at writing acrostic poems about Autumn. After our Autumn walk together, we were inspired to create some fabulous poetry! 📝🍁🍂

Well done to the children in our class who brought in their old clothes for 'Cash for Clobber'.

The 17th - 23rd October was EU Code week. We used the Tynker app to create code for different characters, we were even able to create our own background scenes! #eucodeweek #tynker

We had a great time during Maths Week, well done to children who participated in the 'Maths Eyes' competitions, our winners were Declan, Conor and Roma.

Our PTA came up with a great idea for a sponsored spell, our class raised £355 and had lots of fun learning our Halloween themed spellings. We were rewarded with a Halloween disco on Friday afternoon!

RYANAIR

We had an amazing week in Year 3/4 helping Pilot Paul Nelson with his sore back, we had to become engineers and designers for Ryanair and come up with a brand new chair. Check out our advertisements which we scripted and filmed independently! We are waiting for Ryanair to get back to us with feedback of our designs!
