Congratulations on 100 % attendance!

Well done to the Year 6 children who performed in the Easter drama. Article 14. Every child has the right to think and believe what they want and to practise their religion.

                     Green Day in Year 5/6☘️

Article 31. Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.

 

We celebrated St Patrick's Day with a brilliant assembly ☘ Articles 30 and 31. Article 29. Education must develop every child's personality,talents and abilities to the full.

We made rain gauges to measure rainfall in April ☔️ Education must ...........encourage the child,s respect for human rights and the environment.

Our local firefighter came to remind us about staying safe at home. Article 28. Every child has the right to an education.

Break the Rules Day!

We made simple circuits to light up our houses. Article 28. Every child has the right to an education.

We worked together to weed and plant in our outdoor garden.  🌸🌼

Article 29 Education must develop every child's personality.......and encourage their respect for the environment.

We celebrated European Languages Day by learning the parts of the body in French.  Some children were able to count to 10 in German, Polish, Irish, Latvian and Spanish!

Article 30 Every child has the right to learn and use the language, customs and religion of their family

We ditched our dark clothes to stay safe on our way to school.

Article 3. The best interests of the child must be a top priority.

Cancer Focus came to talk to us today about the importance of protecting our skin in the sun. Article 6 Every child has the right to life. Governments must do all they can to make sure that children survive and develop to their full potential.

On National Literacy Day we worked in groups to plan and write a haiku.

Maths Week

The Dairy Council came to tell us about the importance of eating healthily and exercising.

Article 24 Every child has the right to the best possible health.  Governments must work to provide this.

Shared Education Day with Kilrea Primary School

We enjoyed singing around the Christmas Tree with Kilrea Primary School and Crossroads Primary School.

Our KS2 Carol Service was a great success.
