  Well done to all our prize winners for the school year 2015/2016! We said goodbye to our Year Sevens and we wish them good luck as they make the big move to their new schools in September, one chapter has closed but another is about to begin! We hope to see you again soon!

• Third Green Flag Award for St. Columba's

  Tuesday 14th of June was a big day for our school. Ruth from Eco-Schools carried out the assessment for our third Green Flag Award and we are delighted to announce that we have once again been successful!🎉Well done to Mrs McGuckin and all the members of our Eco-Council who have set a great example in leading everyone to become 'greener' in all areas of school life! 👏🏻🎉🐝🌱🌻🌸♻️🏆

  

• Health Action Awards

  St. Columba's was well represented at the Health Action Awards in Lisburn. St. Columba's Primary School was awarded a Silver Award and Best School in the North Eastern Region whilst Nursery received a Gold Award and Best Nursery in the North Eastern Region. Piaras and Lucia from Nursery were chosen for next year's Action Cancer Promotion Campaign. The day was hosted by Claire McCollum and sponsored by Centra. A very enjoyable and successful day was had by all. The four pupils were a credit to their parents and school. #healthactionawards 🍎🍊🍍🍓🍌🏆
