Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Today, Year 7 pupils participated in a Fairtrade Bake Off event. Their challenge was to create a baked product using lots of Fairtrade ingredients. Our judges, Mrs Anne-Marie Henry and Mrs Roisin Dowds were blown away by the standard of baking but in the end awarded winners in a number of categories. All pupils in the school had the opportunity to view the wonderful display of cakes and bakes before having a chance to enjoy a tasty treat in their classroom.
As we are a ‘Take 5’ school, this event gave everyone the opportunity to connect, be active, take notice, keep learning and give!
A huge thank you to our judges, Miss McKiernan who organised the event and to Mrs McGuckin our Eco-schools Co-ordinator.
Well done everyone! 🍪🍩🍮🧁🍰
