  • Northern Ireland Netball Finals

    Sat 18 Jun 2022

A very busy day for St Columba’s. Today, for the first time in the school’s history, our Netball Team attended the Northern Ireland Netball Finals. The girls were outstanding, going through to the semi-finals with one draw and 3 wins. They won their semi-final and were beaten narrowly in the final by a very strong Bangor Central Integrated PS team.  We are extremely proud of the girls who played their hearts out today and made history in St Columba’s. Massive thanks to Mrs Kielt and Mrs Shiela Kearney for coaching the girls this year. We are so lucky to have had Mrs Kearney as our netball coach this year. She inspired the girls with her skill and leadership. Huge thanks also to Miss McAleese for joining Mrs Kearney today and  for taking such good care of the girls.
