Mrs McGuckin’s Year 4 class had ‘brrrrrilliant’ fun conducting their ‘blubber experiment’. The children used butter to recreate the effect blubber has on a variety of polar animals. They put their hand into icy water first, then inside the ‘blubber’ glove and back into the icy water. They discovered that it wasn’t as cold!

We love to read in Nursery. As part of “Growing Together” we read every day. It helps us to connect in lots of ways. We explore stories and read big books with our teacher. It builds our confidence and our language skills.
