Year 6 pupils travelled to Bushmills Salmon Fisheries with their friends from Kilrea Primary School this morning. Having watched salmon eggs hatch in their classrooms earlier in the year, the children had the opportunity to see the next stages in their growth before becoming fully grown adult salmon. Thank you to Stephen for the excellent tour. Everyone really enjoyed it!
Miss McKiernan’s Year 7 pupils participated in the Big Spring Clean today. The children worked in groups to collect discarded rubbish within the town. Well done everyone!
Congratulations to our boys’ football team who were crowned Division 1 shield champions at the South Derry Cumann na mBunscol football championships held today in Glen, Maghera.
The boys and girls from Year 6 had a very enjoyable morning at Loreto College Coleraine. The children got to sample some lessons in PE, Physics, Home Economics and Spanish. A great day was had by all.
Year 3 and 4 had a great morning at Xtreme Bounce. Everyone enjoyed a tasty picnic and played in the park afterwards.
Well done to our Camogie Team who took part in the All County Championship today in Ballinascreen. Once again, the girls did us proud with their super performances.
