Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

Our Anti -Bullying Ambassadors have had a busy Term with their daily clinics. Thankfully we do not have bullying problems in St.Columba’s PS but we are being proactive and know that problems can arise. Children sometimes fall out with their friends or fall out over sports issues and can get upset.  The Ambassadors were on duty every break time on the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds. They listened to problems and helped in anyway they could to sort out any disagreements. Quite often the Ambassadors could sort out the problems but if there were any serious concerns they reported these issues to Mrs Henry or Miss McKiernan.

Problems included feeling sad, friends running away from children, being cheeky or being too physical when playing. The Ambassadors had training on ‘rating problems’ and they recorded issues which were available for teachers to check on a daily basis.

Meet our St.Columba’s Anti Bullying Ambassadors

We had three winners from Key Stage 1,three winners from Key Stage 2 and special Principal Awards were given to five pupils for super effort.
