Causeway Coast and Glens Innovation Challenge

 

Congratulations to Sophia Maguire who was chosen as the overall winner of the innovation challenge. She won a 3D printer for the school.

ARTICLE 13 Every child has the right to find out and distribute information and to express their ideas – through talking, writing, art or any other form of expression.

Salmon Project

Mark and Steven delivered some salmon eggs to the classroom. Over the next few weeks we will spend sometime looking after them, checking the water temperature and removing dead eggs. We look forward to watching them change into alevins and fry before they are returned to the river.

Year 6 spent the morning recreating the art work of Environmental Artist Andy Goldsworthy. They used only natural materials to create their masterpieces.

As part of maths week the children were tasked with using their ‘Maths Eyes’ to finding ‘maths’ around their home. They found lots of brilliant examples.
