Article 24 states 'You have the right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.'

Article 29 states 'Education should develop your personality, talents, mental and physical abilities.'

Your education should help you use and develop your talents and abilities!

Happy Christmas from Year 3/4

What a fabulous day we had celebrating World Book Day. Our class novel is Charlie and the chocolate factory so we created new book covers and inventing new chocolate bars. Such fun!

Year 3/4 studied International Woman's Day and focused on Article 2 - no discrimination and Article 28 - Access to Education

Happy St.Patrick's Day

What a fun day we had dressing in green and celebrating the life of St.Patrick. Article 30 states that every child has the right to celebrate the customs and religion of their family.

Stop Climate Change!

Year 3/4 showed great passion for learning about this week's Rights Respecting article. They learned about the impacts of climate change and what they can do to help. They made wonderful posters and wanted to spread the word by campaigning to stop climate change! Article 24 states that every child has the right to a clean environment. #rightsrespectingschool #globalcitizens #stopclimatechange
