Article 28 - Every child has the right to an education. Primary education must be free. Secondary education must be available for every child.

Article 14 - Every child has the right to think and believe what they want and to practise their religion, as long as they are not stopping other people from enjoying their rights. 

Farm Safety Talk

Year 7 received a Farm Safety talk from nurse Zoe and some of our pupils got to show us what they wear on the farm.  Our modern day Farmers.

The children received a talk from the NSPCC this is in line with;

Article 19 - Governments must do all they can to ensure that children are protected from all forms of violence, abuse, neglect and bad treatment by their parents or anyone else who looks after them.

Article 16 - Every child has the right to privacy.  The law should protect the child's private, family and home life.

Our wonderful residential from Woodhall.  We had a ball and met some challenges and overcame some fears.  A memorable time had by all!!

Year 7 joined other schools in the local area to attend a workshop by Young Enterprise NI to develop their understanding of NI Business and Tourism Industry.

Safer Internet Day in Year 7 - We learned the importance of being safe online!!

Happy Chinese New Year!! Jacky and Tommy told us a little about their culture and how they celebrate the New Year in China.

Year 7 have embarked on a Mindfulness journey to promote a calm, learning environment and to give our children the resilience to cope in todays every changing world.

Year 7 pupils enjoyed our ‘Christmas Decoration Challenge’ using only Recycled materials. The pupils used their creative skills in a variety of ways and produced super decorations.

During Maths Week Year 7 pupils got the opportunity to assist the Year 3 and 4 pupils with their investigations.This was a very worthwhile experience for all pupils involved.
