We are aware that everyone has rights! These are the rules we created together aboard our pirate ship 🚢
Well done to Amy who used Seesaw to word process our rules ⚓️
Year 3 had a super time at their school trip to the Jet Centre in Coleraine. Firstly they went to play in Alley Cats and then they went on to the cinema!
Our class made the short journey across to Kilrea P.S. to join up with their Year 3 class as part of the Shared Education project. Here the group were joined by local artist Conor Larkin. The children designed and painted murals which will represent their local area that will be displayed in their school buildings. Keep your eyes peeled for our final product!
We welcomed the author Stuart Reid to our school to talk about this life as an author and his 'Gorgeous George' books. Some of our class even bought his books. Look out for his books in our school library!
Many thanks to our wonderful assistant Gosia who is leaving our school after 10 years. She has been a huge help to all of our children especially to those who speak Polish also. Best of luck for the future Gosia!

Year 3 delivered an assembly on the importance of being fit and healthy. We told everyone about our favourite exercises and sports. We also told everyone about the local clubs and classes available in our area. What exercise do you like to do?
Afterwards we were joined by Fitness Freddy!

Collecting for Trócaire during Lent
We have learned about Kumba's story. She is the little girl on the Trócaire box. Her home was destroyed during a landslide. She had to find another home and was split up from her family. We collect money for Trócaire so Kumba can have her old life back with her family.
Many children will get a nutritious meal with the money we give to Trócaire. It is our responsibility to do this because we are a rich country.
